Strategic Plan
Our Strategic Plan sets the direction for safeguarding, outlining priorities and objectives. Normally spanning three years, the current plan has been extended to four to give the new Independent Chair (appointed in June 2025) time to shape the next plan.
Our Strategic Plan 2022-2026 has three key priorities:
- To increase awareness and understanding of adult safeguarding among professionals and the public in Gloucestershire.
- Prevention and responding to reports of abuse and neglect.
- Learning and continuous improvement.
