2.1    This policy is for anyone working or attending the council’s Adults and Children and Families in-house services, including permanent, temporary and agency staff including:

  • Registered Children’s homes
  • Short break services for children
  • Supported accommodation for young people ages 16 – 17 (where applicable)
  • Adult day centres
  • Adult short break and respite units

2.2    Volunteers in the council In-House Services are excluded from this policy as they are not permitted to undertake medication administration.
